Building on the idea of a blackboard, we created a two-piece collaboration wall. Teachers and administrators visiting TIES were encouraged to write the name of their district or school on a blackboard while being recorded by a video camera.

To create the image of virtual collaboration, video of participants was played back in a layered fashion in an on-site installation.
